Peoples, NCCU crowned HBCU National Champs

NaSheed Peoples, a graduate of Lexington Senior High School and North Carolina Central University, is now an HBCU National Champion. A member of the NCCU football team, the Eagles defeated Southwestern Athletic Conference champion, Jackson State University, in the Cricket Celebration Bowl 41-34 on Saturday, December 17 in Atlanta.

Peoples is a defensive back on the team. He recently graduated from the college with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
