Political Ad: Tonya Lanier seeks Commissioner seat

Tonya Lanier plans to acquire one of four Davidson County Commission seats up for grabs in the upcoming election.  Not having to participate in the May primary, Tonya is focusing her energy on the Tuesday, November 8, 2022, Election Day.

A graduate of Lexington Senior High School and Davidson County Community College, Tonya has a long history of public service.  By day, she works as a legal assistant for a local municipality.  While her main focus is legal research, she is administratively organized and business savvy. She possesses a strong work ethic, a high level of common sense and considers herself an extremely qualified candidate.  Her practical knowledge, patience and willingness to learn will aide in making thoughtful and informative decisions.

Tonya plans to spend the upcoming months meeting and chatting with citizens in and around Davidson County, listening attentively to their concerns and interests.

Tonya says, “I am humbled by the support, encouraging words, praise and reinforcement for my run as County Commissioner.  I believe my qualifications are well suited as someone that can serve this position professionally……. and not merely politically.”
