I hope everyone has had a wonderful week, I can't wait to share this weeks happenings.
I attended the Piedmont Triad Regional Council Awards luncheon this week at the North Carolina Zoo. It was wonderful to recognize individuals playing such a vital role in local government including our very own Commissioner Don Truell which received the Founders Award.
Election day is 18 days away! Early voting has already started. I want to remind everyone who is registered, to VOTE. This is a right we get the privilege to exercise, so I encourage everyone to get to the polls over the next few weeks!
Construction fraud over the last few years has been brought to the NC State courts. Abiding by state regulations is important for your safety and the safety of our communities.
NCDOT is also planning future expansion along a rail corridor between Raleigh and Richmond, Virginia, which officials say will better connect local communities and shorten travel time to the Northeast.
The North Carolina Alliance of Public Health Agencies (NCAPHA), the North Carolina Association of Local Health Directors (NCALHD), and the North Carolina Public Health Association (NCPHA) announced on Tuesday that Patrick Brown has been hired as Executive Director of the Associations beginning November 28, 2022.
Recent School surveys show how educators feel students can be benefitted by certain adjustments or protocol within schools regarding testing and how they are assessed.
