Press Release: Help for seniors in Southern Davidson County

Applications for placing seniors in need on the Giving Tree in Denton are still being accepted. The deadline to request placement is November 27th.
Sign up times are 8:30-11:30 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the South Davidson Family Resource Center, located at 292 South Main Street.
The Giving Tree at the Denton Library will have number coded cards that include information about the senior's needs. These cards are available for families or individuals to adopt starting on November 8th.
Once a senior has been chosen, the selected gifts will need to be wrapped and identified with the number code. Please drop gifts off at the library during business hours until December 8th.
