Press Release: TCS School Nutrition offers special programs for 2023-2024

Thomasville City Schools, School Nutrition Department is pleased to announce that all TCS students are again eligible this school year to receive daily meals at no cost, provided through the district’s school nutrition programs. 

Students attending every TCS school will receive breakfast and lunch daily at no cost through the National School Breakfast Lunch Program and supper meals at no cost through the Child and Adult Care Food Program. Thomasville Primary School and Liberty Drive Elementary School will also offer a fresh fruit and fresh vegetable snack two times a week provided through the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Grant Program, which was awarded to our school district again for the 2023-2024 school year. 

The School Nutrition Department is excited to continue serving health, nutritious meals for the 2023-24 school year!

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at: https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/USDA-OASCR%20P-Complaint-Form-0508-0002-508-11-28-17Fax2Mail.pdf, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
