KB Realty in Midway has a new home.

The real estate office, which launched in August, has relocated to the building that previously housed Home Trust Bank. Their new address is 11564 Old US Hwy 52 (near the intersection of Gumtree Rd).

To introduce their new office, the company is hosting a floating open house on Thursday, January 13 from 4pm until 7pm. Light refreshments will be served.

Co-owner, Kim Kennedy, shared what will take place during the open house. “Our agents will be onsite to greet the community and allow for a tour of our building.  We’ve been doing some renovating. The building has been here since the early 70s and has been an icon in the Midway community. We’ve freshened the look of the building to meet our needs while ensuring the integrity of the charm and nostalgia of its history.”

Kennedy also stated the move will assist them with growing their presence in the community. “The relocation provides us with road frontage which we hope will increase our traffic and help the community be aware of our company.  The new location provides a more central location to the areas that we service.  The new building is larger and has our own private dedicated parking.“

Launched in August, KB Realty is a full-service real estate brokerage.  They provide assistance with residential and commercial sales and purchases. However, their desired impact isn’t limited to buying and selling. They desire to be a good steward within the county.

“We pride ourselves on community involvement. Not only do we strive to provide professional real estate services, we enjoy giving back to our community.  Our website is www.gokbr.com  It outlines more about our business goals and what we offer to the community. The ‘Meet our Agents’ tab highlights the members of our group. Our KBR Giveback page shows some of the previous community involvement events we have hosted. This year, we’re planning quarterly events to provide community involvement.  We’re working on a spring/summer event as well as a Fall Trunk or Treat that will be hosted at our location.”

The event is open to the community.
