Republican Women host Conservative Conversations and Cookout

The Davidson County Republican Women's Club is hosting their second annual Conservative Conversations and Cookout. This year's event will feature congressman Ted Budd, congressman Dan Bishop, Judge April Wood, county commissioners as well as other State, Federal and local candidates. This beautiful meet and greet will allow for discussions and conversations with our elected officials.

This public event will take place at a private farm located at 4150 Clodfelter Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107 on July 16, 2022 from 2-5pm. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 12. Payment methods Debt, Check or cash is accepted upon entry and a wristband will be provided. Parking is available, there will be a golf cart present in the parking lot to assist those with any impediments.

More fun is to be had as there will be door prizes. This venue's nourishments will feature hamburgers and hotdogs with all the trimmings along with drinks, chips and homemade vanilla ice cream with a plethora of toppings to choose from. In-Kind donations are encouraged and welcome as donations go towards helping nonprofits and other organizations that help others in the community.

At  last year's Remembering 911 event, $1,000 of the proceeds were donated to the Fort Bragg Fisher House. The Fisher House is a “home away from home” for Families of inpatients at Womack Army Medical Center, the Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center and other area hospitals. There are no guest fees charged for lodging. Kelly Gallimore, the Clubs President stated that “The military has a special place in our hearts as they make sacrifices everyday.”

One of the club’s objectives is to promote an informed public through political education and activity and these women do just that through their social events and volunteering. The Davidson County Republican Women’s Club would love for you to join them, again on July 16, 2022 from 2-5pm to meet elected officials from the republican party and others in the community that are like minded.
