Residential property clean up week July 24 though July 29 7:30am to 3:30pm 

During the designated week, the tipping fee is waived for Davidson County RESIDENTS to  bring their own personal clean up of their property, up to 10 loads of trash.  

Details are as follows: 

In order to help residents have a smooth event to empty their load, please see below: 

Residents that DO NOT have a dump trailer or dump truck, must come to Residential Landfill: 220 Davidson County Landfill Rd, Lexington. Please have following items separated for your load as they have separate designated areas  they must go.  

a. Any TVs or computer screens that are old picture tubes. 
b. Other electronics, microwaves and metal go to same recycling box. 
c. Appliances have a separate area to off load at. Freezers and/or Refrigerators must  have no food in them. 
d. Furniture, mattresses and trash can be together. 
e. Car tires can bring up to 5 per load and go in a trailer and must be stacked. f. Car batteries, rechargeable batteries, kids out side toys, etc. have a specific area to offload g. Motor oil and oil filters, we have 5 gallon limit per load and oil filters have an area  specific for them.  
h. Metal drums must have end cut out and crushed and free of anything in them. They can go in metal box. 
i. Propane or helium tanks, give to attendant at convenience center. 

If you have paint etc, that may be brought the first Saturday of each month. See phone # below. 

For residents that do own a dump truck or dump trailer and wish to dump, the Commercial Landfill address is: 1160 Old Highway 29, Thomasville. 

**We recommend wearing long pants and boots as this is a hazardous area** Caution: Landfill can have nails, screws etc. 

a. The Commercial Side can only accept trash and furniture. All other listed items  above, must go to the Residential Landfill Side.  

The following items Prohibited by Law and Banned from Landfill are:
a. whole wood pallets 
b. hazardous waste. 
c. liquids 
d. tree limbs, logs, grass, plants, bushes, etc. (yard debris)
