Samet Corp. prepares to build ‘NC 85 Center’ in Lexington

Samet Corp. prepares to build ‘NC 85 Center’ in Lexington

On Wednesday, November 10, the Lexington City Council unanimously approved the voluntary satellite annexation of property along I-85 southwest of Lexington. Seeking City of Lexington municipal and regional utility services, Samet Corporation requested the property become part of the City effective today. Samet Corporation plans to develop the 763+ acre property for large-scale industrial use. Direct interstate access, large acreage, and minimal proximity to residential development make this property prime for economic development, tax base growth and job opportunities for central North Carolina.

Samet’s ‘NC 85 Center’ industrial park will break ground with a 20-year planned investment of a minimum of $250 million to benefit the region. The City of Lexington professional team is proud to partner with Samet to create an ‘open for business’ gateway into Davidson County.
