Sign unveiling on the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center campus

Leaders and teammates recently gathered at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center for the unveiling of their new signage at the main entrance to the hospital.

The hospital’s marque sign, located at the main patient and visitor entrance (250 Hospital Drive), features the logos and names of both Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School of Medicine – the academic core of Atrium Health.

“This new sign marks a new day in our strategic partnership with Atrium Health and shows the strong bonds between our patient care and clinical, research and education missions,” said Bill James, President, Lexington Medical Center. “As our teammates, patients and visitors pass by the new signage, we hope they will be reminded of our shared commitment to improve health, elevate hope and advance healing, for everyone we serve.”

As part of their strategic combination with Wake Forest Baptist, Atrium Health is investing $700 million into the Triad region.

New signage and branding will be introduced across the Lexington Medical Center Campus, including all main points of entrance:  Patient / visitor entrance at 250 Hospital Drive; Rehabilitation Services at 245 Hospital Drive; Outpatient and Imaging Services at 300 Emergency Drive; and the Emergency Department at 350 Emergency Drive. Signage at clinics and offices throughout the Davidson County footprint will be updated in the coming months.
