SmartArts Grant to benefit Kamp Kiwanis campers

This summer Hometown Artisan Guild will have the opportunity to be a part of the Kiwanis Kiddie Kamp!  This traditional summer camp has been the biggest yearly Community Project of our Lexington NC Kiwanis Club since 1928 and is supported through the Davidson County Agricultural Fair ! 

The three sessions of weeklong overnight camps is geared for children 7 to 11 and is free to qualifying children. Hometown Artisan Guild will be teaching the daily art class to 64 children per week for three weeks in June. The funding for this Community Art Project is made possible by a  “SmartArts Grant” through Arts Davidson County.
