Thomasville man charged with burglary and felony larceny

Lonnie Lee Brinkley of Thomasville, was arrested by deputies with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division in conjunction with the K-9 division. Brinkley was charged with 2nd degree burglary and felony larceny.

In the early hours of August 1st, Deputies received a report of a subject breaking and entering a residence located on Gobel Road in Thomasville. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the victim, who was able to provide video footage of the suspect.

Deputies conducted a K-9 track from the suspect's last known location. Shortly after beginning the track, the K-9 alerted and Deputies located Lonnie Brinkley in the woods.

Brinkley was taken before the magistrate, where he received a $10,000 secured bond and was placed into the Davidson County Jail. Brinkley is scheduled to appear in court on August 29th, 2024, at 9:00 am.
