Three-Day Pipe Replacement Starting in Davidson County
Press Release from NCDOT
THOMASVILLE – The N.C. Department of Transportation plans to close part of a freeway in Davidson County for a three-day maintenance project next week.
Starting at 8 a.m. on April 11, Old U.S. 64 is scheduled to be closed near Old N.C. 109 to allow crews to replace a crossline pipe under the road. The road is expected to be reopened by April 14.
Motorists are advised to use Old N.C. 109, Valley Mine Road, and Jerusalem Road as a detour.
Drivers are also reminded to use caution while approaching the work zone and plan accordingly for delays.
