Poultry Incubation & Brooding Workshop - 6:30 PM until 7:30 PM at 301 East Center Street in Lexington at the Davidson County Center.

This workshop will help you learn how to incubate eggs, brood poultry, and introduce young birds to an established flock. Spring will be here before you know it, which means there will be chicks in all the supply stores! Do you think you will be tempted to purchase chicks? This workshop will help you be prepared to brood poultry successfully. Whether you purchase chicks or hatch them from an incubator.

Jonas Asbill, Area Poultry Specialized Agent with NC Cooperative Extension, will cover the basics of incubation, brooding and how to introduce young birds to an already established flock.
