Veterans Helping Veterans to hold annual meeting on Feb 25th
Veterans Helping Veterans) will hold an important informational meeting on February 25th at 115 West 9th Ave at Davidson County Rescue Squad in Lexington from 1:00 to 3:30 pm.
All Veterans are welcome as well as those wanting to help the almost 40, 000 Veterans in Davidson County according to CEO Dennis Cave of Veterans for Life. Cave said, “We will be updating information out there for all Veterans and welcoming guests and supporters and new members.”
The group provides education and information according to their Guidelines, Mission & Statement.
1. Providing to all veterans with honest and correct information for helping with all their needs.
2. V4L-Piedmont’s main purpose is to make sure all veterans are getting all the information they need to help with the following item’s - agent orange, claims, education, homeless, PTSD, suicide prevention, women veterans issues and items that the VA isn’t putting out for those veterans who may not heard about.
3. Reason, is to keep all veterans aware of and informed about what the VA has to offer and websites and numbers. VA.gov. 800-698-2411.
