What to Expect: Davidson Local sports coverage

Currently, we have a small but mighty staff who is committed to bringing you the latest Davidson County news. They’re resourceful, dependable and thorough.
Despite our ability to offer consistent coverage on various topics, at this time we’re unable to provide adequate reporting regarding prep sports. With nine high schools participating in athletics, it’s a challenge to cover them all efficiently.
Since our launch date, our sports coverage has been limited to playoffs, championships, major coaching changes and special events. We’ve published articles about the North Davidson and Oak Grove playoff game, the athletes participating in the 1A and 2A state track & field championships, the Special Olympics Torch Run and the Davidson County swim meet to name a few.
Going forward, we’ll continue to post articles about various sports topics. As we grow, so will our coverage. We hope that you’ll be patient with us as we strive to bring you free, hyperlocal news daily.
