Denton FarmPark's Christmas Train seeks votes by June 30th, Southeast Old Threshers' Reunion

Denton FarmPark’s Country Christmas Train needs your help as organizers seek to win a Carolina’s FInest Award for Best Holiday Light Display,.

Carolina’s Finest Awards, showcasing the finest North Carolina has to offer. We’re leaving it up to you, our readers, to pick the best of the best. Winners will be published in our November 2022 issue. Vote for your top picks to be entered into a random drawing for one of three $100 gift cards. Deadline to vote is June 30, 2022.

The Christmas Train was started in 2009 when the Loflin Family had an idea to share the true meaning of Christmas with the community and have a place loved ones can come out and create memories with their family.

You can then get on the Handy Dandy RailRoad and take a ride around our mile in a half track and see some christmas lights.

Denton FarmPark is a family owned historical park with 15 restored buildings including a general store, grist mill, church, plantation house, blacksmith shop, log cabin. A full-size steam train encompasses the park on a 1½ mile track. The campground accommodates 500 campsites. Many events are held here so look under the events tab to see what is coming up. we have the LARGEST steam, gas and antique farm machinery show in the Southeast!
