YMCA hosting Hoops and Soups
The J. Smith Young YMCA is so much more than you may know, and as a nonprofit, we reach youth, individuals, families, and seniors. Every day, our community faces new challenges that create a greater need for the work we do. With your support, the Y is able to ensure that everyone, regardless of means, has a place where they can set and achieve their goals, build strong relationships and find a place to belong. Together, we can transform the lives of thousands of people right here in our community.
On March 10th we are hosting a Soups and Hoops event to help fund the Annual Giving Campaign and fulfill the mission of the YMCA. Here are the details:
When: March 10th
Time: 11:00a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
What: Lunch and the NCAA tournament
Cost: $12 for lunch or $25 for lunch and a handmade bowl from Missions Pottery
We encourage you to order lunch for yourself, business or organization and stop into the Y to pick it up. Delivery options are available as well! While you are there, eat lunch if you wish and watch the games happening on our big screens.
Each meal that is purchased has the potential to:
$10- provides a day pass for an adult needing a shower and a warm spot for the day $25- pays for half a week of childcare or 1 session of Parent Child Swim Lesson
