Lexington YMCA renovations under way

Throughout the next several months, members will see physical changes at the J. Smith Young YMCA located at 119 West Third Ave Lexington. “We believe in investing in our members, so we are thrilled to be able to do these updates for our membership,” said Jen Fuller-Allen CEO, J. Smith Young YMCA.
Renovations will not impact member access to the facility.
Upgrades will also include new cardio and weight equipment by February 2023. Fuller-Allen said, “All in an effort to make our YMCA the best it possibly can be for our members.”
The J. Smith Young YMCA offers a host of virtual and in-person classes and programming.
According to the website, “This YMCA is truly a focal point of community service in Davidson County offering something for everyone of all ages from infants to seniors. As you can tell, our organization offers many different services to the community and touches the lives of so many in our community. The strength of our YMCA is in the people we bring together that participate in worthwhile programs and experiences.”
