YMCAs to host 9th Annual Prayer Breakfast on September 8
The Tom. A Finch Community YMCA and the J. Smith Young YMCA will host the 9th Annual Community Prayer Breakfast on Friday, September 8 at Memorial United Methodist Church, 101 Randolph Street, Thomasville. This event, sponsored by Novant Health and Atrium Health, brings together the entire Davidson County community to share in food, fellowship, and an uplifting message.
Chad Tucker, anchor of Fox8 WGHP’s evening news, will provide the keynote address. A familiar face and active presence in the Piedmont Triad, Chad is perhaps just as well known for his family’s battle against the childhood cancer that has afflicted their daughter. He will share their moving and inspiring story of faith at this event.
A full breakfast will be served from 7:15-7:55 a.m., with the program to follow. The event will conclude by 9 a.m.
Tickets are $10 each and available at either the Tom A. Finch YMCA (336-475-6125) or the J. Smith Young YMCA (336-249-2177) until September 1.
