Charity League returns with a holiday celebration and royal twist

The Charity League of Lexington invites the public to celebrate the holiday season with a unique royal twist at The Castle, located at 908 Country Club Drive, Lexington, NC.

This event is open to everyone and offers a chance to enjoy a royal style tea in a castle while jumpstarting holiday shopping at Commons on the Green.

For 61 the past years, The Charity League has been an essential part of holiday traditions in the area. Although the event structure has changed due to COVID-19, the organization remains committed to its mission of supporting children in Davidson County. In the past, the Charity League hosted a Holiday House and Shoppes event that allowed locals to explore some of Lexington's most beautifully decorated homes.

Shoppes organizer Kathrine Everhart referred to this year's event as a “comeback” for this cherished community tradition.

President Christie Strickland encourages everyone to "experience the magic and create lasting memories this season." This year marks the 61st Holiday House hosted by the Charity League of Lexington, featuring a special event that includes lunch in the castle and shopping at Commons on the Green. All proceeds will benefit children in Davidson County. Tickets for the luncheon can be purchased at Dawn's Bridals on West Center Street for either Friday, November 22, or Saturday, November 23.
