Garden Window Farm to host farm to table event on Sat, Oct 16

We all have to eat, and if you have a love of food, especially fresh and authentically made fare and you want to support local business, then here’s an event for you! Garden Window Farm, located in Denton, is hosting an outdoor farm-to-table dinner with Mano Bella Artisan Foods and Piccione Vineyards on Oct 16, starting at 5 p.m. at 1128 Surratt Rd. Guests will no doubt enjoy carefully selected five courses with elegant wine pairings that will include a commemorative souvenir wine glass. Do note that all wines will be presented as tasting pours. Vegetarian options are available upon request. 

Guests can expect to enjoy marinated North Carolina trout, pickled root veggies, red corn crackers paired with vino di lusso; basil sorbet, orange ginger-marmellata, brown rice crisp paired with rosato; duck egg yolk ravioli, sweet potato ricotta, microgreen nest, caramelized garlic butter paired with sangiovese 2018; garden vegetable ragù, roasted greens, rustic Italian bread paired with montepulciano riserva. To end the meal on a sweet note, diners will fall in love with the chamomile waffle, a sweet crunch waffle, pear and mint ice cream paired with pinot grigio 2021.

Due to alcohol being consumed at this event, guests are encouraged to make arrangements as necessary to ensure safe travels to and from the affair.
