Shooting investigation leads to arrest
On Thursday, March 6, 2025, Deputies with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Snider Kines Road, Linwood, in Davidson County, in reference to a shooting investigation. Upon arriving on the scene one male victim was located suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was treated at an area hospital and later released. Detectives with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division launched a criminal investigation into this incident.
On March 6, 2025, Donna James was arrested and charged with one count of feloniously assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflicting serious injury. On March 25, 2025, Joshua Shane Sizemore was arrested for feloniously assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflicting serious injury.
As this investigation continued, Detectives charged Donna Michelle James with felony obstruction of justice and felony notarized a fraudulent bill of sale and was not a notary through the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State.
Additionally, this investigation revealed that Jordan Allen Thompson was implicated with this incident and subsequently arrested and charged with felony obstruction of justice and felony accessory after the fact, on March 20, 2025.
