Enjoy pumpkin carving at the Depot today
It's fall, y'all and the Lexington Farmers Market is anticipating an excited weekend with a Pumpkin Carving theme at the Depot market as well as the Farm Fest in the evening at Bull City Ciderworks. Get your shopping in Saturday morning and enjoy a pumpkin carving demo at 10 a.m. with Taylor Rierson. This is our second-to-last market of the regular season, so don't miss the chance to stock up on your favorite products and soak up the warmth and joy of this sweet community, all while being serenaded by the amazing Jack Riggs.
End your day at Farm Fest with games, music, a raffle, silent auction and a delicious dinner prepared by Chef Tyleata Jones of JJ's Mama's Soulfood & More.
Bring canned food for Helene relief in Western NC to Farm Fest Saturday night and get a free raffle ticket for each can donated.
Farm Fest is the primary fundraiser for the Lexington Farmers Market, a nonprofit agricultural organization. Funds raised help us increase access to local foods for all.
We will be selling 50/50 tickets at the Depot.
$1 - each
$10 - for 12
$20 - for 25
At Farm Fest we will pick a ticket, and you will win half of the pot.
Bidding for the silent action is underway - you can view and bid online. At the market this Saturday, check out the screen at the SNAP/manager table, which will show a live feed of the auction items and bidding!
And finally, we want to show off your pumpkin carving creativity at Farm Fest! Bring your carved pumpkin to Selah, our market manager, during the market, and she will display it at the festival!
