Eat Drink Triad and Duke's Mayo to showcase over 50 locally-owned restaurants

Over 50 locally-owned small businesses were invited to participate in the week-long campaign.

Eat Drink Triad proudly announces the return of its highly anticipated Restaurant Week from October 14-20, 2024, a week-long celebration highlighting the best of locally owned restaurants across the Triad region. With over 50 participating restaurants offering special menus and exclusive discounts, this year’s event promises to be the biggest and best yet.

Eat Drink Triad Restaurant Week brings together food lovers from across the region to explore and support the vibrant local dining scene. From upscale dining to casual eateries, each participating restaurant will offer special discounts, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy unique and flavorful dishes at exceptional prices.

“This is more than just a week of great deals—Restaurant Week is a platform to spotlight the incredible culinary talent we have in the Triad,” said Algenon Cash, founding director of Eat Drink Triad. “Our mission is to celebrate the diversity and creativity of our local restaurants, while encouraging people to support these small businesses that are the heartbeat of our community.”

Key highlights of the week include:

• VIP Mobile Pass: For just $25, food enthusiasts can purchase a VIP Mobile Pass, granting access to exclusive discounts, complimentary tastings, and special experiences at participating restaurants.

• Kickoff Reception (October 14, Founders Restaurant): The week launches with a grand reception, hosted in partnership with the American Culinary Federation and Cheney Brothers, where guests can mingle with top chefs and restaurateurs.

• Signature Events: Throughout the week, special events include a showcase at The Playground, a VIP dinner at Finial Restaurant, and a fun-filled community restaurant hop event featuring downtown Winston-Salem restaurants and entertainment.

Participating restaurants represent a diverse range of cuisines, from Southern comfort food to global culinary experiences, ensuring there’s something for every palate. Featured restaurants include Finial in Greensboro, Ryan's in Winston-Salem, Earl's Landing in High Point, and many more.

Why Restaurant Week Matters:

With many restaurants still recovering from the economic impact of recent years, Eat Drink Triad Restaurant Week offers a much-needed boost for small, locally owned establishments. It encourages the community to explore new dining spots, support their favorite restaurants, and keep dollars circulating within the local economy.

“We hope to drive foot traffic and give these restaurants the exposure they deserve,” added Cash. “Every dollar spent during Restaurant Week helps sustain these businesses, so we’re inviting everyone to come out, try something new, and make a difference.”
