Arts Davidson County invites you to embark on an artistic journey where ancient myths and enchanting tales of magic come alive through captivating works of art through an upcoming exhibition, Mystery, Magic, Myths and Legends. The exhibit explores the mystical and mythical, inviting artists to interpret these timeless themes through their unique creative lenses.

Discover the allure of the mysterious and magical while celebrating universal fascination with the unknown, offering a platform for artists to breathe new life into age-old stories. Visitors will be captivated by mystical landscapes, mythical creatures and legendary heroes as depicted through diverse artistic mediums. From hauntingly beautiful eerie landscapes to the whimsical charm of fantastical beings, the works on display will delve into cultural folklore, fantasy, and the extraordinary.

The Mystery, Magic, Myths and Legends exhibition invites art enthusiasts and the community to explore the boundaries where reality meets myth and imagination knows no bounds. Through paintings, sculptures, mixed media creations and more, this showcase will spark curiosity and inspire deeper contemplation of the extraordinary.

The Mystery, Magic, Myths and Legends exhibition will be on display from September 7th through November 8th at Arts | Theatre 202, located at 202 North Main Street in Uptown Lexington. The opening reception is scheduled for Saturday, September 7th from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. and is free to attend. The exhibit will provide a unique opportunity for artists and art lovers to connect and celebrate the unveiling of these extraordinary works.

Gallery hours for the exhibit will be Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. with additional viewing opportunities available by appointment.
