Lt. Governor Mark Robinson makes a campaign stop in Lexington
The Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina, Mark Robinson made a scheduled stop this morning at the Village Grill Restaurant in Lexington as part of his campaign tour as a Republican candidate for Governor. The multi-stop tour includes meetings at various restaurants throughout the state. At Village Grill, Robinson, who was accompanied by his wife, Yolanda Hill Robinson, took time to visit each booth and greet his supporters.
Robinson expressed concern for each of his supporters as he shook hands and took countless photos while engaging in conversation with practically each attendee.
Robinson made history in 2021 by becoming the first black Lieutenant Governor ever elected in North Carolina and has since been focused on his ambitions as Governor.
There was a protest unfolding outside of the restaurant during the candidates visit. This protest was planned and supported by the members of the community and contrary to several accusations, was in no way affiliated with Davidson Local, as we are committed to reporting local news on all candidates, without bias.
Mark Robinson will continue campaigning at restaurants by returning to the road tomorrow morning for stops throughout the day in several cities including Jonesville, Siler City and Yadkin County.
