Breaking News: Davidson County School System cancels classes for students Thursday due to weather

Due to the approaching weather caused by the effects of what began as Hurricane Debby, Davidson County Schools has the following announcements related to closings.

All activities at all Davidson County Schools are cancelled for Thursday, August 8, 2024.

There is no school for all students, including Yadkin Valley Regional Career Academy and Davidson Early College High School. It is also an optional workday for all staff.
