Lexington Police Arrest Shooting Suspect

LEXINGTON, NC – Lexington Police Officers, with the assistance of the Guilford County Sheriff's Office, arrested 23-year-old Cornas Sullivan in Guilford County on May 11, 2023. The arrest was related to the murder of Shantae McCauley, which took place on January 22, 2023, on Winston Road in Lexington. Sullivan has been charged with second-degree murder, attempted murder, shooting into an occupied conveyance in operation, and possession of a firearm by a felon. Bond information is unknown at this time.
