Davidson County Department of Social Services to host job fair

The Department of Social Services in Davidson County is hosting an upcoming job fair with the hopes of increasing the size of its current staff. 

For the past few years there has been a large increase in the amount of turnovers in the Department of Social Services statewide which has led to a backlog and also delays.

The Davidson County Department of Social Services is hoping to remedy this on February 29, 2024 with Hiring Managers and Recruiters seeking to fill numerous positions including Social Workers and Income Maintenance Workers, just to name a few.

The job fair will take place at the Davidson County Government Building located at 913 Greensboro Street in Lexington. The job fair will begin at 3:00 PM and last until 6:00 PM.

To ensure a better interview process, all applicants are asked to pre-register by February 26, 2024 and to be prepared with resumes and transcripts.
