Early college graduate awarded scholarship

Sunday, May 30, YaLeia Anderson was awarded a $500 scholarship by the Lexington Community Ministers Conference. Anderson graduated last month from Davidson Early College High School where she earned an Associate of Arts at Davidson-Davie Community College.

She will attend the University of North Carolina-Charlotte in the fall to major in Psychology. Post completion of her secondary education, she plans to attend medical school. Her career goal is to become a neurologist.
