Political Ad: Davidson County Commissioner candidate, Matt Mizell

Matt Mizell is a Republican candidate for Davidson County Commissioner. He is a political outsider and an authentic conservative who has lived here in Davidson County for over 30 years. Mizell, who is 32, hopes to bring his conservative energy and fresh perspective to the board of commissioners.

Mizell had this to say about himself and why he’s getting involved: “I’m not an established politician and I don’t have any political alliances with anyone else – my loyalty is to We the People and our Constitution. Frankly, I’m just a guy who felt called to jump into politics after watching us descend further and further away from our founding principles.”

Matt has further stated that his foundation rests upon the fact that he’s a Christian, Conservative and Constitutionalist, and that those convictions will drive his decision making. As Commissioner, Mizell hopes to prioritize Public Safety and First Responders and has called for further investment in the school system among other things.
