Visit Uptown Lexington for the Boo Bash & Boo Crawl
Lexington, NC – Uptown Lexington, Inc. is excited to present the family-friendly Boo Bash from 6pm to 8pm on Saturday, October 30th, 2021. Several activities will bring the community together in a safe way including pumpkin painting, live music, courthouse lighting, a haunted house, and the best mask and costume contest. Side Street Studio will host a photo booth and spooky art exhibition with Arts Davidson County. Masks covering the mouth and nose are highly encouraged as a part of Halloween costumes and hand sanitizer stations will be present throughout the district. The annual trick-or-treating event will feature shop owners and nonprofits giving out candy on Main Street and all side streets. The streets will be closed down to automobile traffic from 6pm to 8pm. A sensory station will be located at 2 N. Main St. and Pour Folk Pizza food truck will be open on The Square. A collaboration with Bunce Buildings will highlight a spooky haunted house with a friendly witch storyteller. New for this year, the Boo Crawl will allow those 21 and older to explore numerous bars, breweries, and restaurants! Visitors who have their Boo Crawl cards punched or stamped four times will be entered to win a grand prize of gift cards and other amazing items. Punch cards and collection boxes will be located at each of the following bars: 2nd & Main, Jimmy's Bar, Sophie's Cork & Ale, The Brewer's Kettle, The Smoke and Oak, High Rock Outfitters, Bull City Ciderworks, Goose and the Monkey Brewhouse, and Side Street Studio (Photo Booth location).
