Notice: Fair Grove to hold open meeting to discuss need for paid Fire Chief

Dear Fair Grove Fire members, and Community,

For nearly 70 years, Fair Grove Fire Department, has proudly protected this community. We have successfully evolved through the years in an attempt to provide the care, and support, this community deserves.

Obviously, we are in a completely different realm , compared to when we started in 1956.

The responsibility of the Fire Chief for Fair Grove has surpassed what can reasonably be expected from a volunteer. We have been extremely fortunate with a strong history of Fire Chiefs since our inception. These gentleman have sacrificed more than most will ever know.

Therefore, we must adapt again for the community, our members, and the strength of the department. On January 9, 2024 at 7 PM we will hold an open meeting to discuss the need for a paid Fire Chief. This meeting is open to all volunteers, and property owners within our district. This meeting is being offered, for informative purposes, in advance of our annual meeting at the end of January.

Thank you for your continued dedication to this community, through Fair Grove Fire & Rescue.

Sincerely,

Justin Gallimore

Chairman, Board of Directors at Fair Grove Fire & Rescue
