Faith and Fellowship: The Son Always Shines
Most people tend to feel happier when the weather is sunny and calm. The same people may feel sad or blue when skies are overcast, or it’s rainy. Others may feel the opposite.
Most people’s temperaments are affected by the weather outside. Each person is different. We, the believers, should always know the Son is always shining above the clouds! Jesus never fails!
I love God’s promise in 2nd Corinthians 4:6 “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ “.
It’s wonderful to be a Christian to comprehend the truth of God’s word, to know that Jesus lives within our hearts,
Jesus is called the son of God over forty times on the Bible. Jesus often referred to himself as the Son of Man, born of a human mother. He was fully man but also fully God. Let us remember “the light” another term for truth as references in John 14:16
When storms rise in our lives, when a loved one dies, when we lose our jobs, when we are overwhelmed with doubt, when our health begins to fail, when our friends let us down, when our family is not around, when we are betrayed by co-workers, when our parents disown us, when we feel as if we can’t trace the Savior always remember the Son always shines.
When you are feeling down or in despair, you can trust the words from the song which declares-So many nights I’ve cried, for better days I prayed for. But through it all I know “The Son is going to shine” if I hold out.
Hold on to your faith and rest assured the God we serve is with us. In Hebrew 13:5 God declares that he will never leave us nor forsake us.
As we meditate on the Word of God this week let us remember, from the rising of the Son to the setting of the same Son. Our God is worthy to be praised!!!
May God so richly bless!
