First Presbyterian Church celebrates Sisters in Spirit

First Presbyterian Church celebrates Sisters in Spirit

First Presbyterian Church extends a warm invitation to Sisters in the Spirit, a faith event for women. The event offers a time for refreshment and encouragement. The program takes place on Sunday, October 6th, at First Presbyterian Church.

Doors will open at 2 pm, followed by a session with author Cleere Cherry Reaves and musical performances from 3-5 pm. Cleere Cherry Reaves, an author, speaker, and podcaster, will share her insights at the event. A native of Greenville, NC, Reaves brings a unique perspective on returning to life in her hometown and her personal faith journey.

Reaves became a mother in July 2021 when her son, Sledge, arrived three months premature. Despite the challenges, she describes the experience as the best and most wonderful adventure, emphasizing the joy and wonder of life through her son's eyes. For more information about Cleere Cherry Reaves, you can visit @cleerelystated and Cleerely Stated at cleerelystated.com.

Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance at First Presbyterian Church, 300 S. Main Street, Lexington, NC, or at the door (payable by cash/check). For further details, call the church at 336-248-2140.

To stay updated, you can follow on Instagram and listen to the podcast. Organizers wrote, “We look forward to welcoming you to this enriching and inspiring event.”
