Free COVID-19 testing site still operating
The free COVID-19 testing site is still in operation at the Davidson County Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds are located at 400 Greensboro St. Ext. in Lexington.
From 10:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., seven days a week, anyone, not just Davidson County residents, can be tested for the virus. Results will be received within 48 hours. There are no eligibility or appointment requirements.
Ottendorf Laboratories is providing the testing.
