Lexington Parks and Recreation is excited to invite you to the 27th Annual Multicultural Festival on Saturday, May 6. Celebrating diversity through cultural music, ethnic foods, exhibits, and performances, attendees will be able to visit the world in a day, and be transported through a sampling of the cultures and heritages that make up our community.
The Davidson County Bicentennial Committee, headed by Debbie Harris, Clerk to the Davidson County Commissioners, has been working hard for over two years on planning various festivities celebrating the County’s 200th Birthday.
All year Davidson County has been celebrating its 200th birthday. The celebration will culminate with a bash on Saturday, November 12 at the Davidson County Fairgrounds.
The Davidson County Health Department won’t be doing COVID-19 testing this week.
The free COVID-19 testing site is still in operation at the Davidson County Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds are located at 400 Greensboro St. Ext. in Lexington.
