God is bigger than our storms

God is bigger than our storms

Storms will come into our lives. Sometimes God will send a storm and our God always has the last word,  for we know that God can control the winds and the rain. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for the good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.”  There is a God in heaven who deeply Loves you.

God wants to fill your life with love, peace, joy and purpose, for our God is bigger than our storms.

The world is full of storms, both literal and figurative, but the difference between the actual storm and a stormy season in your life is that you can sometimes take shelter during the storm. When storms come into our lives sometimes it may be easy to lose hope and there may be times when it’s harder to hold onto your faith, but there is good news. God is bigger than our storms.

Perhaps you have found yourself in the middle of a storm and it may seem like there is no way out. There is a way out because our God is in control, no matter how impossible life may seem while going through a storm. Our God is bigger than our storm.

We should always pray for one another, now that we're all facing the ravages of Hurricane Helene. Let us place our faith in action, let us look to God. We do not need to tell God how big our storms are, we need to tell our storms how big our God is.

Philippians 4:19 states, “God is bigger than what we see, feel or hear.”

Our God created the universe, let us stand together and unite our faith as one body of believers, knowing that our God is bigger than our storms.

We should always reflect on the songwriter as he stated, “Though storms keep on raging in my life and sometimes it’s hard to tell the night from day, still that hope that lies within is reassured as I keep my eyes upon the distant shore. I know he’ll lead me safely to that blessed place he has prepared, but if the storms don’t cease and the winds keep blowing. My soul has been anchored in the Lord.”

As we meditate on the word of God this week, let us remember sometimes storms can cause immense damage and can take precious lives, but God is strong enough to help us through all things for our God is bigger than our storms.

Let us continue to pray for the families that were affected by Hurricane Helene and may we always pray for our world.

May God So Richly Bless!
