Holly Hill Cares collects items for Ronald McDonald House
Holly Hill Cares, Inc., a non-profit ministry of Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville, NC, is collecting supplies for the Ronald McDonald House of Winston-Salem until February 28th.
The supplies being collected include: paper towels, toilet paper, sanitizing wipes, K-Cup pods and individual creamers, meal prep containers, and preemie baby clothing. These items have been specifically requested by the management of the Ronald McDonald House.
The collection of items was inspired Megan Anderson, President of Holly Hill Cares's, first trip to the facility. "We were first introduced to the needs of the Ronald McDonald House during a Christmas gift drive for families staying there. During a tour of the facility while delivering the donations, we learned about their ongoing need for paper supplies and preemie baby clothing," said Anderson. "Our non-profit organization, Holly Hill Cares, is always looking for opportunities to support local organizations through donation drives, and this seemed like a perfect fit...Contributing even one roll of paper towels is a kind gesture considering what the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House are going through."
Donations can be dropped off at the Holly Hill office during business hours (9 am - 5 om). Additionally, tax-deductible financial contributions can be sent to the Holly Hill Cares, Inc. PayPal account at hollyhillcares@gmail.com. Please include "Ronald McDonald House" in the notes, and your contributions will be used to purchase the requested supplies.
The Ronald McDonald House provides a "home away from home" for families with children receiving treatment at nearby medical facilities. Located just steps away from Brenner Children's Hospital and close to Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, the House offers quick access to a child's bedside.
