American Legion Post 8: Bingo is back

After several years of inactivity due to COVID and other issues, American Legion Post 8 at 206 Wilfred Ave is preparing to start the fun again. We plan to begin the fun the first Saturday in January 2023. We will operate the first and third Saturday each month. In addition, concessions will be available for those needing some refueling. Please tell your friends and come join us for the fun. We look forward to welcoming back familiar faces, and meeting new ones.

We discontinued bingo in 2020 when COVID got bad and we couldn’t meet. Anyone can play as long as they are old enough to understand the game.  If children are brought, you must keep them quiet and mannerly.

The cost is dependent on the number of playing cards you want to play per game. All funds, minus payouts to winners, will be used to pay bills, building maintenance, and support to the community.

Prizes are dependent on each game played.  Money prizes range from $50.00 to $400.00 each game. We will probably play 15-20 games per night.
