Israel Pate receives the Delta Sigma Theta Memorial Scholarship
The Lexington (NC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc is proud to announce the 2024-2025 recipient of the Lucille Yarborough-Alice Henderson Memorial Scholarship.
Congratulations to Lexington native, Israel Pate.
Pate is the daughter of Ms. Tekeshia Owens, and is an upcoming graduate of Central Davidson High School, where she has received numerous academic achievements and has consistently maintain an impressive GPA.
In addition to excelling at academics, Pate also shines in athletics and actively devotes time to community service. Another recently accolade for Pate includes her recently graduated from Davidson-Davie Community College with a Paralegal Certificate.
In the fall she will attend North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro (NC A&T). While at NC A&T, Pate plans to major in Political Science with ambitions of attending law school and becoming an International Corporate Business Lawyer.
