Learn more about Artificial Intelligence at an event in Lexington

With the recent prevalence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) you may be wondering exactly what AI is and how AI will affect you in the future.

Lunch and Learn about Artificial Intelligence in Our World is being hosted by MT. Tabor United Church of Christ located at 1102 East Holly Grove Road in Lexington on Sunday, June 9th at 12:30 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Dr. Pooya Khorrami, an Al expert who works for Lincoln Lab at MIT.  Dr. Khorrami will speak about his research in Al and some of the implications that exist because of AI. Dr. Pooya Khorrami is a member of the technical staff in the Artificial Intelligence Technology and Systems Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. His primary research interests are in the areas of computer vision, machine learning, and media forensics.

Khorrami received his BS degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 2011, and his MS and PhD degrees from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, in 2013 and 2017, all in electrical and computer engineering.

There will be plenty of time for discussion, so please bring your questions. This event will be held in the Mt. Tabor Fellowship Hall, with free lunch of pizza and desserts provided by the Men's Brotherhood and Women's Guild of Mt Tabor.

There is no charge to attend and everyone is invited.
