It’s nice to be nice

As believers we open ourselves up to the work of the Holy Spirit, whenever we ask and seek him to produce in us the ability to be nice to others.

Being nice one to another yields marvelous fruits in our lives, as well as other lives around us. The word of God teaches us, “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgive one another, as God in Christ forgave you”. Ephesians 4:32.

It’s nice to be nice.

When we are nice to others. It is a virtue, God would notice when you practice being nice to others. And God rewards you for you demonstrating this virtue.

“And let us not grow weary in well doing, For in due season we were reap if we faint not.”

Being nice to others, even when it is not reciprocated, will provoke the blessings of God, let us remember God always rewards our efforts.

Growing up as a child, my mother always taught me the golden rule, treat others how you would want to be treated. As a believer, following the golden rule is a great way to display your God-like  heart.

One thing I have come to realize in life is, it costs us nothing to be nice to others as well as to ourselves. If we really love one another and show each other genuine love, we can all live better lives.

There is good news when you are nice, you will always be remembered for the nice way you've treated someone as the years come and while you may not reap benefits of being nice immediately, your unforgettable niceness will be beneficial to those that come after you.

Simply stating it's nice to be nice.

From a wise mind comes wise speech.Nice words are like honey, sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. When you are nice it reflects the heart of our Heavenly Father. Colossians 3:12 teaches us, “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, Holy and dearly love, clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, and patience.” We have been chosen to do well one to another.

Have you practiced being nice today?

If you’re struggling to be nice, please remember that kindness is something that God bestows.

When you are nice, you get the opportunity to spread joy!

What a great feeling it is to be nice. In our world today, it may feel like being nice is no longer important. But as believers, we should always remember “Be devoted one to another and Love, Honor one another above yourselves,” Romans 12 .

As we Meditate on the word of God this week let us remember, it takes so much energy to be mean, it takes much less energy to be nice. Let’s praise God for giving us the strength to be nice because it’s nice to be nice.

May God So Richly Bless!
