Faith and Fellowship: The King is coming
People all over the World have heard the story of Jesus’s birth, A voice is calling, “ Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness; make smooth in the desert a highway for King”. The Forerunner lived In the desert, He ate locusts and honey. Matthew 3:4, this indicates the forerunner lived in seclusion, He cloth himself in a garment from camel hair, the King is coming and there has been sent an envoy to prepare a way for the King, John the Baptist. This kind of envoy that was sent was a different and unusual envoy, as the kind of King he was supposed to be announce.
The birth of Jesus was prophesied in Isaiah 7:14. The scripture teaches us, Behold, the Virgin will conceive and will bear a son, and his name shall be called Immanuel , in the New Testament, Matthew teaches us how the Kings birth was prophesied in Isaiah 7:14 was fulfilled. The King Is Coming, and his mother Mary after she had been engaged to Joseph, before they came together was found to be with child of the Holy Ghost.
Through the Virgin Mary, Jesus the King will be born as a child with flesh and blood, His source was the Holy Spirit. The word of God teaches us And she will bear a son, and you shall call, His name Jesus, For it is he who will save, His people from their sins. Jesus and Emmanuel are two excellent names that are full of significance for us. Emmanuel translated, God with us. O come let us adore him.
Jesus is the anointed King and the promise Messiah. The word of God teaches us before the world began, God had a plan to bring redemption, Father we Thank You as we await the arrival of the King. Father, keep us in perfect peace as our mind remains on the truth of your powerful Love. The King is Coming!!!!
As we meditate on the word of God this week, let us wait the anticipation of the Kings coming. Thank you Father for your mighty sovereign hand, help us to trust fully in you and rest in your peace as we wait for the King to come.
