Press Release: Hospice to host memorial services in November
HOSPICE OF DAVIDSON COUNTY TO HOST TWO HOSPICE SABBATH SERVICES
Free community events will be held Sunday, November 5 and Sunday, November 19 at 5 p.m.
LEXINGTON, N.C. – (October 18, 2023) – Hospice of Davidson County is hosting two services for Hospice
Sabbath. Within November’s National Hospice and Palliative Care Month recognition, there is an annual celebration held called Hospice Sabbath. This celebration honors the spirituality integral to care at the end of life offering an opportunity for reflection and remembrance.
The first service will be held Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 5 p.m. Hospice of Davidson County has partnered with local faith communities to hold a service at First United Methodist Church located at 310 S Main St Lexington, NC 27292. If you wish to attend this service, we ask that you please bring a token or framed photo of your loved one to be used during the service.
The second service will be held Sunday, November 19, 2023, at 5 p.m. This interfaith service will be held on Hospice of Davidson County’s campus by the Labyrinth Garden with music provided by Ken McIver Davis.
