Press Release: New Mobile Veteran Service Office to debut

Davidson County, NC - The Davidson County Veterans Service Office is excited to announce the launch of its new Mobile Veteran Service Office. This initiative aims to bring vital services and resources directly to the veterans in Davidson County.

The Mobile Veteran Service Office will make its official debut at the 5th annual Salute to Service, Jeep Show and Ride, taking place on November 4, 2023. The event, organized by Offroad Outlaws (ORO-Fab), will be held at Saving Grace K9, 760 Sink Farm Rd, Lexington, NC 27295. The mobile office will be there from approximately 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The new Mobile Veteran Service Office is designed to provide convenient access to a range of services and resources for veterans. From assistance with benefit claims to counseling services, the mobile office will offer a variety of support options. The goal is to ensure veterans are aware of and have access to the resources they need to lead fulfilling lives after their service.

Davidson County has a strong and proud military community, and the introduction of the Mobile Veteran Service Office is a testament to the commitment of the Davidson County Commissioners to serve the needs of local veterans. By bringing services directly to the community, the office aims to make it easier for veterans to access the benefits they deserve.

"We are thrilled to debut the Mobile Veteran Service Office," said Commissioner James Shores. "By taking our services on the road, we hope to reach more veterans in our community and provide them with the assistance they need."

Veterans and their families are encouraged to visit the Mobile Veteran Service Office at the Salute to Service Jeep Show and Ride to learn more about the available services and resources. The Davidson County Veterans Service Officer team will be on hand to answer questions, provide guidance, and connect veterans with the support they need.
