Join the fun at the 3rd Annual Thomasville Stars Night
The Thomasville Tourism Commission and the HiToms are proud to present the 3rd Annual Thomasville Stars Night. This night at the HiToms game will be focused on everything Thomasville.
Nine unsung heroes will be recognized between each inning. These heroes were selected by various organizations and community groups as people who contribute and give to the Thomasville community.
These “Thomasville Stars” will be awarded a plaque as well as a HiTom’s souvenir for their efforts. The entire community is invited to the City’s Historic Finch Field on Tuesday, June 11th. The gates open at 6:00 p.m. and the game begins at 6:30 p.m. “Thomasville Tourism is proud to partner with the HiToms again this year to support our hometown baseball team, while partnering with many important community organizations to recognize our communities unsung heroes,” says Director of Thomasville Tourism, Cameron Marsden. Marsden notes the momentum the event has gained over the years, and is excited to recognize community members from the school system to Novant, as well as non-profits and the City. “We were thrilled at the 100’s of attendees at last years game, and I know the award recipients felt special that their community came out to support them.”
