Don’t miss our last two Winter Farmers Markets
Spring has indeed sprung. However, we haven’t wrapped the season on our Winter Farmers Market, yet. The final two will be held on April 1 & April 15 from 12pm until 3pm at Bull City Ciderworks - 599 S. Railroad St. Lexington, NC 27292.
With Easter on the horizon, stop by the market for fresh eggs, vegetables, jams, breads, and meats — including lamb. Local artisans will also have homemade crafts and gifts for purchase.
To make fresh, local foods more available to all, the Winter Farmers Market accepts SNAP EBT. Through the Double Bucks program, recipients of SNAP benefits (also known as food stamps) can double their spending power at the market. For every SNAP dollar, customers will receive $2 in .tokens to spend with vendors. Recipients can double up to $20 of SNAP benefits per day. To swipe a SNAP EBT card in exchange for tokens, see the market manager on duty.
* Note: The Thomasville Farmers Market opening day is Saturday, April 22 from 8am-12pm. It will be held under the water tower at 21 E. Guilford St. in Thomasville. Opening day at the Lexington Farmers Market at the Depot is Saturday, May 6 from 8am-12pm. The market is located at 129 Railroad St in Lexington.
