At approximately 4:26 AM this morning, the Lexington Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 413 Fairview Drive. Upon arrival, crews quickly initiated a fire attack and conducted a thorough search of the home, confirming that no one was inside.

The fire was brought under control in approximately 45 minutes, but the property sustained heavy fire and smoke damage throughout. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among fire personnel or the public.

The home, which appeared to be vacant at the time of the fire, is now considered uninhabitable due to the extensive damage. Lexington Fire Marshals, along with Lexington Police, Davidson County EMS, and other responding agencies, assisted at the scene.

Fairview Drive is now open. The road from Talbert Blvd to North Carolina Ave was closed due to ice on the road caused by fire hoses.
